I’m Danijela Duric, a certified personal trainer in Burlington, Ontario and a nutrition coach. I specialize in strength training, mobility and corrective training, and exercise technique coaching—helping clients build confidence, move better, and achieve realistic, sustainable progress.

At seven years old, I was diagnosed with patellofemoral syndrome and experienced knee dislocations in both knees. After multiple dislocations and six knee surgeries, I lived with chronic knee pain. My surgeon and physician advised that sports were off the table, and even walking felt risky. I worked with physiotherapists to strengthen my legs, but my early gym training did not relieve the pain.

Everything changed when I hired a trainer and learned proper lifting technique, efficient movement patterns, and how to perform exercises with correct form. That’s when I started feeling less pain, building strength, improving stability, and seeing real changes in my body. Later, I added structured nutrition coaching and better habits. This experience is the foundation of how I coach today: biomechanics-informed training, safe movement, and progress you can measure.

My certifications and education include:

Maria is a passionate trainer who knows firsthand how strength training can transform both the body and mind. She grew up playing basketball and even competed at the semi-professional level, developing the discipline, resilience, and drive that she now brings to her coaching.

Throughout her career—spanning high-level corporate roles and running her own productivity consulting business—the gym remained her outlet for self-care and personal growth. Now, she’s turned that passion into coaching, helping women build confidence, strength, and endurance.

With a background in strength training, running, and CrossFit, Maria takes a dynamic, results-driven approach to fitness. She understands the demands of a busy lifestyle and is committed to helping women train smarter, move better, and feel stronger—both inside and outside the gym.

Jess is a dedicated strength and performance coach who believes in the power of training to build both physical and mental resilience. Her fitness journey began in 2011, and over the years, she has developed discipline, perseverance, and a deep passion for strength training.

She started as a competitive Cross Country runner, earning an Athletic Scholarship at Nipissing University and receiving awards such as Rookie of the Year and MVP. However, her love for strength training soon took over, leading her to shift her focus to powerlifting—a decision that has been empowering and life-changing.

As a competitive powerlifter who has competed within WPC and OPA, Jess understands what it takes to build strength, push past limitations, and stay committed to long-term progress. She is also a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist and a Certified Personal Trainer, bringing a science-backed approach to training.
